He hadn\u2019t really thought of it that way.&#8221;<\/p><cite>Jess Walter, The Cold Millions<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How did you get to where you are currently in life? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Have you made conscious choices along the way or was life a series of actions and responses that led you here?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most of us live life by default. We move through life reacting to responding to situations and circumstances as they occur. Time passes.  And there we are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a default mechanism at place, and many of us can&#8217;t see what&#8217;s driving our actions and choices &#8211; when we think about them as choices at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Something happens and we think, &#8220;Now I have to \u2026&#8221; But in service of what? Are you making choices to stay safe? Choices to make us happy? Choices of convenience &#8211; the path of least resistance? Or does it not even occur as a choice? There is just what there is to do next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Viktor Frankl, author of &#8220;Man&#8217;s Search for Meaning&#8221; said: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>\u201cBetween stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.&#8221; <\/p><cite>Viktor Frankl, Man&#8217;s Search For Meaning<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When&#8217;s the last time you actually stopped and pondered a response to a stimulus?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This topic is covered quite a bit in the study of emotional intelligence. And, it is a learned skill to stop and choose a reaction rather than just react. Wouldn&#8217;t it be great to have a clearly defined touchstone to connect with in the moment between stimulus and response? I call this your Key Difference\u2122\ufe0f. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Key Difference\u2122\ufe0f is your foundation of operations AND a touchstone with which to make choices moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Putting words to what your life and or business is about is a tremendously powerful tool to operate from. It&#8217;s an opportunity to create a path to fulfillment and satisfaction with life as it occurs. It&#8217;s a opportunity to live and operate with power regardless of life&#8217;s circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is your life driven by circumstance or by choice? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Are you living by default or do have a mission, a goal, or a vision for what you are creating? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re living by default, let&#8217;s talk about what it would take to Draw A Door\u00ae\ufe0f.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cRyan?
